Why Jimmy?
With over 4 years of student government experience in college along with my experience on the M1 class board, I am one of the most qualified candidates for MSU president. I have not only ran elections but also ran offices. At UCLA while working in the office of the president, I directed a team that made historical changes by establishing UCLA's first clothing redistribution center and also paving the way for establishing UCLA's first Black Student Resource Center, among many other accomplishments. As a student leader on campus, I worked with administrators and other student leaders on a daily basis as well as managed and directed 5 figure budgets.

At Stritch, my passion for student-led advocacy continued. As M1 class board VP, I ran multiple student review panels for many of the first year courses to provide student feedback to both administrators and course directors. We created an anonymous feedback form for our class and have followed up on nearly every single form submission. Through class board efforts, we communicated and followed up on M1 concerns with administrators and course directors. We also helped navigate the class through various scheduling challenges and advocated to make the course schedules more amenable.

I am confident that with my prior experience with student-led advocacy and previously demonstrated passion for leadership, I can be an exemplary MSU president. My qualifications and prior work speak for themselves. I not only have the passion but also the operational and functional knowlege to fulfill my platforms/ideas and effectively represent the student body of Stritch.
